Perfection on The Panhandle

We first discovered Alys Beach in 2018. After my elopement in New York City, I vacationed with my new hubby (pictured below on bike) to the Gulf Coast of Florida, also knowns as The Emerald Coast. This area consists of infamous beaches that don’t compare to any others in America. Sugary white, fine sand and crystal clear aqua waters that never feel too cold to the touch. I grew up going to this coast, as a child and into my early adulthood, mostly to Destin and Seaside.

A little farther down the Highway, notoriously known as just “30A”, you find Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Alys Beach being the more exotic and exclusive. The beach resort shocked me as a maze of white stucco buildings that mimic Mediterranean and Caribbean architecture surrounded by perfectly groomed sidewalks and palm trees. Soothing heaven. The eye-catching architecture is what makes this community an experience for even visitors on bikes.

Our Alys Peach Kimono robe, is inspired by the heavenly shores of this area. Constructed in silk charmeuse, giving off a slight peachy shimmer, like the inside of a shell that has been washed ashore. It’s a statement in it’s length and grace, that compliments your own style. This robe is long, so it can be wrapped fully around and worn as a tunic.

When you visit Alys Beach and the surrounding area, you must spend time at these local spots:

Charlie's Donut Truck

The Citizen Bar

George’s

Pescado in Rosemary Beach

Alys Shoppe boutique

As a rare spectacle in this part of the country, it brings tourists from all over the world. Mostly to see the gorgeous waters but also to experience a southern slow-down, that is unique to “The Panhandle”.
